Wedge Distance Ladder Free
Dial in wedge distances at multiple targets
Blocks
50/75/100 yard targets
Hit shots to three targets at 50, 75, and 100 yards
- start with the shortest distance and work up
- change the length of your backswing for each distance, not your tempo
- note which backswing position produces each distance
- with no exact yardage sign, pace off a known marker or use evenly spaced targets (the gap between backswing lengths matters, not the exact number)
40/60/80 yard targets
Hit 5-7 balls with your gap wedge at each of three targets: 40, 60, and 80 yards
- smooth, rhythmic swing and solid contact
- watch where each ball lands versus where it finishes
- with no exact yardage sign, pace off a known marker or use evenly spaced targets (the gap between backswing lengths matters, not the exact number)
20/40/60 yard targets
Hit sand wedge shots to 20, 40, and 60 yard targets
- 20 yards: a short backswing with firm wrists
- 40 yards: roughly a half swing
- 60 yards: a 3/4 swing
- keep your tempo identical for all three
- with no exact yardage sign, pace off a known marker or use evenly spaced targets (the gap between backswing lengths matters, not the exact number)
